How do we protect your privacy?
We do everything we can to make you feel safe with us. In this document you will find all the necessary information about how we protect your privacy: what data we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, how you can control the processing, the measures we take to protect your data and the rights you have in relation to the processing.
When processing, we comply with all regulations relating to the protection of your personal data.

What data do we collect?
When selling goods through our e-shop lotsi.sk, we collect the following data about you:
Purchase details
When making a purchase, we require the data necessary to process your order . Mandatory data are only those without which we cannot send you the purchase and process your order, such as your name, e-mail address, delivery address, telephone number and the subject of the order itself.
Account creation data
If you decide to create a user account with us, we also collect all related data. Here too , the mandatory data are a login and password, your first and last name, e-mail address , postal address , telephone number . We use this data to communicate with you.
News by email (newsletter)
If you give us your consent by checking the box when registering or subscribing to our newsletters, we store your e-mail address and name for the purpose of sending you information about products, special offers and news . If you express interest in our e-mail newsletters, we provide you with the opportunity to express your voluntary consent to the processing of personal data based on the so-called Double opt-in (double confirmation). Consent can be revoked at any time via the unsubscribe link, which is located in each e-mail message sent.
Data collected when visiting our e-shop
When you access our site, we also collect information about how you use it . This is information about your interactions with our services, such as when you access our site, what you search for on it, when you create an account, and when you log in to your account.
We also collect information about the devices and computers you use to access our services, including browser type, operating system information, or information about your mobile device, information from which website you access us, the pages you visit, and information from cookies and similar tools.

We process the data we have collected about you for the following purposes:
Providing our services
Based on the data we collect from you, we can deliver our products to you in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. We use the data we collect from you when placing an order to process it . We also need this data for our accounting to properly issue invoices in accordance with the Accounting Act.
The data and information we have obtained about you when providing our services and after logging into your account are used to ensure that your account and the data available to you in it are up to date.
Communication with you
We use your contact information to send you our notifications related to order processing and service provision or when we want to respond to your request, when you ask us what is happening with your order, you want to report to us, for example, a new delivery address, or you ask us to make other changes to your data in your order or user account. We also process your contact information and data about your purchases if you complain about the delivered goods.
Security and protection of rights
We also use your data to ensure the security of the services provided, to respond to claims made against us, in proceedings before state and other authorities that control our activities, and to enforce claims that have arisen against us.

- Functional and technical cookies – these cookies ensure the proper functioning of our website, for example, they ensure the function of logging into a user account on the site, storing goods in a shopping cart, or detecting attempts to log into an account without authorization. Without these cookies, our website would not function properly, their use is necessary and therefore we do not ask your consent to store and access them. We also include cookies in this category that allow us to store the contents of your cart for you even without you being logged in.
- Analytical cookies – these cookies are used to obtain data on the traffic to our website, information about searches performed on our website and also to find out how you move around our website so that we can make it as easy as possible for you to use. Since we have taken measures to prevent their misuse (anonymization on the part of our suppliers) and at the same time measures are implemented so that you can easily control and limit the use of these cookies, we do not ask your consent for their use. How can you change (disable/enable) cookie settings?

Although we do not want to burden you with legal deadlines, in accordance with the requirements of personal data protection legislation, we must inform you about the legal bases for processing your personal data, which are:
- Performance of the contract – in the case of ordering goods and creating a user account, but also in the case of your participation in a consumer competition.
- Fulfilling our legal obligations - when storing data about you and your order in our accounting or when making data available to state and other authorities that supervise our activities or that resolve disputes or enforce decisions.
- Our legitimate interest – in improving and personalizing our services, for certain marketing activities, or in connection with security and protection of rights, as we have stated above. In these cases, we always carefully consider whether the processing will not constitute a disproportionate interference with your rights.
To whom we share data
We may disclose personal data that we process as both the administrator and the processor exclusively to our collaborators who provide administrative and technical support in the operation of the e-shop website, or to other entities only for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations.
We do not publish, make available, or provide your personal data to any other entities, except in the situations described below:

Transfer to third countries
We do not currently transfer your personal data to third countries outside the EU. Any processing of personal data is carried out exclusively within the EU.
How we protect your data
We want to assure you that your personal data is safe with us. In accordance with the requirements of applicable legislation, we implement all necessary security, technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Electronic data is stored in a protected database on our own secure server located in a data center exclusively in the European Union. We protect the database containing personal data from damage, destruction, loss and misuse.
How long do we keep data?
We retain personal data related to your user account for as long as you have an account, as it is necessary for us to be able to operate the account for you. If you do not have an account (you did not create a password when placing an order), we retain your personal data related to the completed order for the necessary period, which is generally five years from its delivery.
What are your rights?
You have several rights arising from the fact that we process your personal data. If you exercise any of the rights listed below, we will inform you of the outcome of your request within 30 days of its receipt by us. In justified cases, we may extend the aforementioned period to 60 days, of which we will inform you.
How to exercise your rights
You can exercise your rights by sending an email message or a written request to our contact details.
In your request, please provide your name, surname, e-mail address, or permanent address. If you do not provide us with the above information, we will not be able to fulfill your request. We require this information from you in order to verify your identity and to prevent your personal data from being disclosed to an unauthorized person.
Right to access data
You have the right to obtain confirmation from us as to whether personal data about you is being processed and, if we are processing your personal data, we will provide you with information about what data about you we process, for what purpose, to whom your personal data has been provided, whether it has been transferred to a third country and how long we will store your personal data.
Right to correction
To err is human. If you believe that our company is processing incorrect personal data about you, you can exercise this right directly in your account settings in the “My Account” section or ask us to correct it. It is important to us that we process correct personal data about you, so be sure to exercise this right whenever, for example, you move or there is a change in any of your personal data that is important for your relationship with us.
Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)
You have the right to have your personal data processed by us erased if the following conditions are met and no statutory exceptions apply:
- the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected
- you withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data and there is no other legal basis for its processing
- you object, on the basis of your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data processed on the basis of legitimate interest and there are no overriding legitimate reasons for the processing or you object to the processing for direct marketing purposes
- personal data was processed unlawfully.
If your personal data have been made public and you exercise your right to erasure, we will also erase such published personal data. We will also inform other recipients of your personal data that you have exercised your right to erasure and that they should erase all references to your personal data, if technically feasible, taking into account the available technology and the cost of implementing these measures.
If you cancel your account with us, we will proceed to delete the data where possible and to cancel the account within 10 days. However, for technical reasons (e.g. due to data backup), it may happen that some data will be deleted after a longer period, which should not exceed 60 days.
Right to restriction of processing
You also have the right to ask us to temporarily restrict processing in the following cases:
- if you believe that we are processing incorrect personal data about you, until the accuracy of this personal data is verified
- the processing of your personal data is unlawful and you decide to request restriction of processing of your personal data instead of deleting it
- we no longer need the personal data for the purposes of processing, but they are necessary for your own purposes of establishing, exercising or defending your legal claims
- if you object to the processing of your personal data, until it is verified whether the legitimate reasons for processing the personal data outweigh your legitimate interests
Right to data portability
You have the right to receive the personal data we process about you based on consent and/or contract and processed by automated means, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You can also transfer this data to another person, therefore, if technically feasible, we will transfer your personal data directly to the controller you have chosen at your request.
Right to object
You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data which is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest, including the right to object to profiling based on our legitimate interest.
You also always have the right to object to the processing of your personal data if it is processed for direct marketing purposes.
Filing complaints
If you believe that our company's processing of your personal data is in breach of applicable data protection legislation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with our main supervisory authority - the Personal Data Protection Authority of the Slovak Republic. We would be happy if you would first inform us of any suspicions so that we can take action as soon as possible and resolve any issues.
Silence
We would like to assure you that our employees and collaborators who will process your personal data are obliged to maintain confidentiality regarding personal data and security measures, the disclosure of which would jeopardize the security of your personal data. This confidentiality continues even after the termination of the contractual relationship with us. Without your consent, your personal data will not be released to any other third party.
